Dome Cities

Dome Cities are colossal flying submersible cities, each encased within a massive metal dome that can open and close like a clamshell for protection and concealment. These mobile metropolises, powered by the Integrated Technological Organ System (ITOS), serve as highly advanced, self-sustaining civilizations capable of traversing the sky, deep sea, underground, and even space.

Each Dome City spans 15 miles in diameter and can house an average population of 800,000 residents. Their advanced infrastructure includes artificial suns, hydroelectric power grids, advanced defensive battlements, and extensive water-based transit systems. These cities are designed to thrive in extreme environments while remaining shielded from external threats.

At the heart of each Dome City is the Citadel, a flying submersible temple that serves as the central control station. The Citadel attaches to the interior of the Dome City but remains distinct from the city's infrastructure. It functions as the seat of governance, housing high-ranking officials and serving as the command hub for city operations. The Citadel submerges into the city's lagoon, where it connects to the city’s systems, attaching to the bed of the lagoon to establish a direct interface with the city's energy, security, and communication networks.
