Relic Advisors
Relic Advisors are humanoid robots powered by the Integrated Technological Organ System (ITOS), containing a digital copy of a deceased person’s consciousness, referred to as a Mind Host. This extracted consciousness is uploaded into the robotic body, granting it autonomy and allowing the individual to continue existing beyond death.
These robots are designed to resemble classical Renaissance statues, often sculpted in the likeness of their original human form. Most are completely immobile, though some are built with minimal movement capabilities. Despite their synthetic nature, Relic Advisors retain most of their original memories, experiences, and personality, making them living archives of past knowledge.
As long as their systems remain functional or are periodically replaced, Relic Advisors can exist indefinitely, serving as mentors, guides, and consultants for future generations. However, their only true sense of freedom comes from their ability to access The Locker.
-
1. Neural Emulator & Bioelectric Field Synchronization
For an individual’s consciousness to be extracted, they must possess a Neural Emulator, a specialized implant located behind the left and right ears.
The Neural Emulator amplifies bioelectromagnetic activity, allowing thoughts, memories, and neural patterns to be recorded and transferred.
Upon death, this Neural Emulator is extracted and implanted into the Relic Advisor, uploading a full digital copy of their consciousness.
This synchronization ensures that the Relic Advisor retains the individual's original neural patterns, allowing them to interact with:
Biological Minds – Engaging in thought-based communication and influencing human perception.
Cybernetic Networks – Hacking and overriding machine-based intelligence.
The Locker – Their only true escape from their immobile existence, The Locker allows them to move freely within a limitless digital realm, where they can store, retrieve, and analyze vast amounts of data.
-
A Relic Advisor remembers who they were, including their past life, experiences, and skills.
They are capable of critical thinking, self-reflection, and forming new thoughts, allowing them to evolve over time rather than simply existing as static copies.
However, emotional responses may be dulled or altered, as the neural-emotional processing of a digital mind differs from that of a biological brain.
-
Unlike biological beings, Relic Advisors do not age or decay.
As long as their mechanical components and ITOS-driven neural systems are maintained, they can live indefinitely.
They possess superior durability, being resistant to disease, environmental damage, and aging, though they remain vulnerable to:
EMP attacks
System corruption
Forced memory erasure

1. Mentorship & Guidance
Relic Advisors are mentors, scholars, and consultants, offering wisdom gathered over their previous lifetime.
They assist leaders, military strategists, historians, and scientists, providing centuries of accumulated knowledge.
Some serve as personal advisors, guiding individuals through political, economic, and philosophical decisions.
2. Historical & Cultural Preservation
Many Relic Advisors preserve and safeguard historical knowledge, acting as living archives of lost civilizations, forgotten technologies, and extinct cultures.
Some are housed in museums, libraries, or research institutions, where they provide firsthand accounts of history.
Their ability to recall events with absolute accuracy makes them invaluable in recording and verifying historical truths.
3. Scientific & Technological Assistance
Due to their immense knowledge and unlimited processing capacity, Relic Advisors are often used in high-level research and innovation.
They assist in theoretical physics, artificial intelligence, medical advancements, and exploration, helping humanity reach beyond its natural limitations.
Their lack of physical mortality allows them to pursue long-term scientific endeavors spanning centuries.
-
1. Emotional Detachment & Psychological Shifts
While Relic Advisors retain memories and personality, their emotional processing may be altered or diminished due to the digital nature of their consciousness.
Some report feeling disconnected from their past selves, struggling with the existential weight of existing beyond their own death.
There are cases where Relic Advisors choose self-deactivation, citing loss of purpose or identity drift.
2. Vulnerability to System Failures & Digital Corruption
Despite their immense durability, Relic Advisors are susceptible to hacking, memory corruption, and neural degradation.
If their data integrity is compromised, they may experience:
Fragmented memories
Irrational behavior
Complete personality breakdowns
-
Not everyone can become a Relic Advisor—Mind Host extraction is a rare and highly regulated process, reserved for individuals deemed valuable to society.
Only select scientists, military leaders, philosophers, and historical figures are granted digital continuation.
Some factions, however, illegally create Relic Advisors, leading to fears of unsanctioned digital immortality and rogue artificial entities.
